Training of Trainers YABDA - Morocco

As part of the Erasmus + Yabda project, which aims to develop entrepreneurial culture in Maghreb universities, a training of trainers programme has been established for each country (Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia) for the academic and administrative staff of the partner universities. The intensive one-week training course reserved for Moroccan universities took place from 26 to 30 November 2018 at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech and involved: Hassan II University in Casablanca, Hassan Premier University in Settat, Abdelamalek Essaadi University in Tetouan and Cadi Ayyad University.

The objectives of the training program were:

  • create and train core teams for the implementation of Yabda centers in partner universities
  • familiarize participants with the principles, ideas and techniques of entrepreneurial learning;
  • explore the practical aspects of creating and running a university entrepreneurship centre on a daily basis;
  • develop networking techniques for intra-university (academic, administrative and technical staff and students) and extra-university (socio-economic environment and local, regional and international public services) actors;
  • seek funding for innovative projects.

These training days were facilitated by: Erifili Chatzopoulou (AUEB), Céline Souliers (Incubator Belle de Mai - AMU), Marine Franssen (ULiège), Vassiliki Chatzipetrou (Readlab) Ioannis Kinias (Readlab) and Moha Arouch (UHPS).

Throughout these days, the interventions and discussions focused on the following themes: Networking strategies; EU Financing, Financing Strategies, Financing Strategies, Entrepreneurship in Education, Entrepreneurship Awareness Techniques; Entrepreneurship Teaching Pedagogical Techniques; Family business; Market Transition Assistance, Practical Case Studies, Specificities of the Moroccan context.
